ARC REVIEW: Let’s Ride (Legion of Guardians #2) by Xyla Turner

Bronx and Shay shared one passionate night together. Unfortunately when they woke up, Bronx leaves abruptly without an explanation.  In a perfect world, Bronx would have told Shay why he had to leave that night or Shay would have swallowed her pride and asked Bronx what was up.  Open and honest communication doesn’t always happen in Romancelandia, which gets us here 4 years later.

Shay isn’t one to chase a man who seems to not want her and Bronx decides to let her alone with that assumption.

Now that their best friends, Razor and Kylie, are an item it’s more difficult to ignore one another. Enter Shay’s cousin who gets herself into some serious trouble with a rival MC. There’s no way Bronx is going to let someone threaten the woman he’s been pining over from afar for the last 4 years.

I thoroughly enjoyed Razor and Kylie’s story (Legion of Guardians #1) but Bronx and Shay — once they handle their shit and clear the air — are definitely my faves in this series thus far. What can I say, I’m just a sucker for a second chance romance.  Let’s Ride is a fantastic follow up in this series.  We get a true love story here. Bronx is a swoon-worthy, sweet alpha hero and despite Shay’s sassiness and tendency to react impulsively, she doesn’t skimp on showing her love for her man. Additionally, we catch up with Razor and Kylie. Oh, and Lori comes back setting us up for her and Apollo’s book…

I definitely recommend adding this one to your TBR!  I’m looking forward to Apollo and Lori next.
