REVIEW: Falling for Jillian (Love Under the Big Sky #3) by Kristen Proby

I’m a big fan of Kristen Proby. Whenever I’m looking for something sweet and sexy with low drama, she’s my go-to! I read Falling for Jillian the day it released and I wasn’t disappointed.

We met Zack and Jillian in the two previous books of this series. They are natives of the same small town in Montana and have known each other their whole lives. After an epically bad marriage, Zack is recently divorced and retired from the Army. He’s moved back home permanently to raise his adolescent son and help his twin brother run their family’s ranch. Jillian is also recently divorced and decided to move back home to be closer to her own family after years living in Los Angeles. Zack and Jillian shared a hot and steamy one night stand neither of them could forget. Due to a misunderstanding and each dealing with emotional baggage from their pasts, they’ve been trying to avoid one another for months since that night. Unfortunately for both of them, their lives are entwined through their siblings and friends so it’s been a nearly impossible feat. Once Jillian and Zack give in to the undeniable feelings between them, this story takes off.

I really enjoyed their transition from from lust to love. Zack’s son, Seth, is an important catalyst to the relationship and really added emotional depth to their romance. Additionally, I loved the interconnectedness of the three couples in this series and the epilogue just wraps up these couples’ in such a sweet bow.

No word whether Ms. Proby will continue the series with other characters we’ve met, but I hope she does.
