REVIEW: Sweet Spot (Bakery Sisters #2) by Susan Mallery

Another winner in this series!

Nicole is a complex character that we met in the first book – one who I didn’t like all that much, but she more than redeemed herself here. Hawk was a bit of an egomaniac and more than a bit clueless, but still quite lovable.

Well-developed story and characters with real not-so-sweet themes such as teenage sexuality, abandonment, grief and dishonesty. This one had  considerable more heat than Sweet Talk. Can be read as a stand alone but you’d miss a lot of the back story on Nicole’s sisters, Claire and Jesse, which is important to Nicole’s arc.

Rating: 4/5 stars
