Enjoyable and funny as ever but I felt like this story was very repetitive in that the happily ever after story of Carter and Claire doesn’t start progressing until the last few chapters.
Until then, Carter and Claire just go round and round the proverbial mulberry bush about the marriage issue; separately lamenting to their friends, without communicating with each other. At first it was funny, but after ~150 pages it became increasingly frustrating; like being stuck in a nonstop loop of Groundhog Day.
There were also a few random moments like the pot cookie incident that, although hilarious, seemed thrown in without any point to it except making Claire et. al seem like a bunch of idiots.
Overall, a decent read but not as good as Seduction & Snacks for me.
